Math Programs for Piloting in Fall 2018

This fall, we will be piloting various math programs for various grade level clusters in Washington Central Supervisory Union.  In this post, I will share information on the programs and how to access them.
  • In Kindergarten through Grade 5, we will begin by piloting the Bridges in Mathematics program.
  • In Grades 6 - 8, we will begin by piloting the Illustrative Mathematics Open Up Resources program.
  • In Grades 9 and 10, we will begin by piloting the CPM integrated program.
Even if you are not on the WCSU Math Program Pilot committee, you may certainly access and try out the programs we are piloting at the grade level you teach.  If you do try it out and have some thoughts and observations, we will be sending out a survey at some point to get your feedback.

Without further ado, here are the details you need to access the materials...

Bridges in Mathematics - Grades K-5

We have permission to access this program until September 18, 2018 (with the option to extend access).  We are starting with Unit 1 at each grade level.

To gain access, you will need to set up a username and password by clicking on this link: https://bridges.mathlearningcenter.org/user/register/?accountcode=washi21936.  This video walks you through how to set up an account.

The following video walks you through how to find the curriculum resources.  You will want to download and save the PDF files.  You may also want to print some of the materials.

Illustrative Mathematics Open Up Resources - Grades 6-8

Setting up eBooks for teachers and students is somewhat complicated.  I will need to work with U-32 math teachers interested in piloting in person to set this up with them.

Questions or thoughts?

Please email me (edorsey@u32.org), but please note that I will have limited access to email over the summer.  Also, you could also connect with people in your school who participated in Curriculum Camp in June, such as: Sonya Rhodes, Ben Weiss, Anne Carter, Heather Robitaille, Tyler Smith, Kim Knapp, Lisa Gariboldi, Christine Christiano, Dave Willard, Cathy Guiffre, Georgia Roy, Hollis St. Peter, Julie Kiefer, and Drew Junkins.
